Blogger is past it's golden years. Who really cares about blogs anymore? I'm probably just waisting my time. Blogs were big during the Bush years and the first term of Obama, but it's all about instagram, Twitter, and YouTube channels now.

Fuck Twitter!
Twitter, where if you're not a hilarious yet horribly depressed comedian, a woman who's at least semi-attractive, a ruggedly good looking man with a beard, or Donald Trump, you're fucked.
I hated it 5 years ago, and I hate it now. In so many ways it's the perfect sum up of why the country is so fucked. You've got far right echo chambers, far left echo chambers, dumb ass dudes who just wanna hook up with whatever Twitter chick they can swoon, and dumb bitches who whine and complain about everything and anything, men most of all.
Meanwhile, Trump, the king of Twitter btw, plays us all for fools. With our national debt so far gone I truly don't think anyone cares anymore, the threat of nuclear war reaching it's highest probability ever, endless gun violence, a society where every race, gender, and ideology is so eager to play the victim to the wrongs someone else put on them that personal responsibility has basically gone the way of the dinosaur.
But Twitter is what people are focused on. The latest hashtag, the latest funny thing that guy did, the slutty tweet that drunk chick did, god we're all a bunch of morons.
I reluctantly joined Twitter as a way to be with a community of like minded individuals who feel similar to me, but my god it just doesn't seem worth it. The people who show some signs of intelligent thought are so seemingly full of themselves it's almost pointless to even bother with them.
In short, fuck Twitter!
But Thane, why are you even on Twitter if you hate so much derpy derp derp?
Because I believe in trying to give things a chance asshole, and my opinions are just as relevant as whatever yours currently are so stop busting my balls.

Introductory
I once ran a blog about 5 years ago, it was a liberal blog. At that time I believed myself a hard core leftist. At the time I ran it with someone I considered a friend, although looking back it was a forced friendship from me, nothing more.
I loved writing, I enjoyed reaching out to people, but as time went on I realized how little I could truly relate to liberals.
Long story short I walked away from it. Through the years I've missed writing and reaching out. I do not consider myself liberal nor conservative. My political and social opinions are all over the map.
This blog will cover a wide range of politics, current events, pop culture, and personal stuff.
